GTA Online: A Guide to Earning Millions
Below is our guide to money in GTA Online. If you only want the first 3 methods, check out this one. This is the only way if you want to instantly inject $GTA in GTA Online. If you want to make a fortune in single player (Story Mode), we’ve got you covered too – just read these guides here.
Making money is the name of the game in GTA Online. Well, that and destruction, do whatever you want! This guide is all about money, though, so read on to discover the fastest, funniest, and easiest way to earn lots of cash in GTA Online…
How hard is it?
Making money in GTA Online is both the main goal of the game and notoriously difficult. High-end and even mid-range items are quite expensive compared to the payouts that players get after completing any mission. Most updates tend to add more expensive stuff to the game rather than expanding options for players on a tight virtual budget.
Of course, this does make some sense. It forces players to put in a fair amount of time playing if they want all the latest gear, which in turn makes the prospect of buying Shark Cards all the more enticing. Shark Cards are a microtransaction system implemented in GTA Online that allows players to purchase in-game funds with real money.
Not only does this system allow Rockstar to keep releasing free DLC updates for GTA Online, it also lets players choose what they value more: time or money? While a handful of people active in the GTA community are constantly shouting about shark cards on the internet, the cards are hugely popular, generating over $5 billion in profits.
Then again, it’s a bit of an exaggeration to say it’s hard to get big cash in GTA Online. There are plenty of perfectly legal ways to get quick cash in-game. There are also some less legal ways to get cash, but these will get you banned, ridiculed and condemned to a very special circle in hell. seriously. do not.
$500,000 per hour in GTA Online
In the video below, we’ll show you step-by-step how to earn 500,000 GTA$ in an hour in GTA Online. It involves a variety of different CEO tasks, including import/export, and has very few requirements. A written guide to this method can also be found on GTABOOM.
shark card
This brings us to our first money-making strategy: shark cards. Really, if you’re open to the concept of buying a shark card, then stop reading now, go buy a shark card, and play GTA Online, be damn good. have fun! Buy what you want, drive your favorite car, stock up on expensive ammo, and rest on your yacht. cool? cool.
Now, if you don’t want to pay for in-game currency, which is understandable, feel free to read on. This guide will cover some tricks that can help players amass great fortunes over a fairly long period of time. We include all the latest technologies and will keep updating this article as new methods become available.
robbery
If you happen to ask players on any GTA-related community forum how to make money fast, 99% of the responses will tell you to do a heist, especially a Pacific Standard job. The last of the five robberies, known to the community as Pac Stan, reaped the most money. The Pacific Standard Job used to benefit from the famous and popular Kuruma glitch, but unfortunately this was patched in late January 2017. Still, the ending can be done without glitches with near-maximum payouts, although due to random numbers it will be difficult to communicate with.
Basically, after passing a bike checkpoint, the script will cause the cops not to shoot you unless you shoot them first. Only helicopters will shoot, but it’s easy to avoid. Basically, you just have to get your best driver to grab a four-seater car of any kind and take the team to the dinghy without anyone shooting the cops. This way you also avoid damage, so you don’t lose cash from the final payout.
While random looting has become a terrifying activity, it’s not as bad as most people make it out to be. In fact, a recent study showed that heists by random players have an extremely high success rate. Even so, having to rely on any odd player does have its difficulties, which is why we put together a comprehensive “How to Random Heist” guide some time ago.
Heist also includes the option for the host to set a payout percentage for each participant. Since we’re all here to make money, you should make sure you’re not screwed. However, you should also check your expectations and avoid asking for more than you deserve. We’ve put together a rough guideline on how to distribute payouts across each heist.
While heists are the most complex and lucrative jobs in GTA Online, they can get boring even after a long grind. There are plenty of other options, and we recommend diversifying – grinding can quickly lead to boredom.
Heist Round 2 – Setup
No time for a heist ending?Fortunately, the game gives players the option to only participate in the heist setup missions, so you don’t have to spend time doing all the setup missions and ending. If you go according to plan, you can play just one or two setups – they pay well and often have a high success rate, even higher than the finals. You’ll make a lot of money in a relatively short period of time, so this is definitely an approach worth considering.
Trafficking in illegal goods
The recently released Further Adventures in Finance and Felony adds a whole new way to make money in GTA Online – but this method requires some upfront investment, so it’s recommended for players who already have a lot of cash but want to rise to the very rich to the point of. You can’t even start doing this unless you have about $1.5 million in GTA sitting idle.
You also need to be mentally prepared as this will not be an immediate profit. In fact, it may take a few days for you to recoup your initial investment, depending on how frivolous you are. However, once the business grows, you will earn more than you can spend.
Well, almost, anyway.
You first need to buy yourself a corporate office to serve as the headquarters of your criminal enterprise. There are four of these new property types, with the cheapest starting at $1 million with no bonuses (though you definitely want that weapons locker). Then you will need a warehouse – no need to buy a large warehouse right away. Finally, you will need some items, so start the purchase task. You might want to do this in an empty public meeting or you’ll soon be attacked by a greedy 12-year-old screamer driving Hydra.
So, now you have an office, a warehouse, and some goods to fill the shelves. Time to make money, right?
Over time, you’ll be able to upgrade to a larger warehouse, buy and sell more goods, provide better protection, and as the business grows, you’ll soon discover that those lovely yachts are actually quite affordable .
VIP mission
When the Executives and Other Criminals DLC was released last December, a brand new VIP and bodyguard system introduced new ways to get cash that rivaled heists — if done right.
VIP quests have pretty generous rewards across the board, so if you’re not too stingy with efficiency, just team up with some buddies as your bodyguards, and do them in any order you like. While getting cash may be the immediate goal here, don’t forget to really have fun while playing.
However, if you do get hurt on some greens, there is an effective but somewhat tricky technique that can give you a better return on time than a robbery.
Basically, you need to complete two missions close to each other. For this method, you’d better give your bouncer a day off, as solo will be the fastest method. The two missions you will alternate between will be “Sightseer” and “Hostile Takeover LSIA”.
Sightseer will take about 5 minutes to complete and pay you a GTA $20,000 base bonus, ranging from GTA $500 to $2,500. Payments also depend on the time it takes to complete the task. If you go over the 5 minute mark, you’ll earn an additional $500 every 30 seconds, up to a maximum total reward of $25,000 in GTA$ around 10 minutes. The ideal technique here is to choose a fast and light bike to accelerate the task.
Hostile Takeover LSIA will be accessible 5 minutes after Sightseer. At that time, hop into the garage closest to you and pick up an armored vehicle. After the cooldown is over, drive to the airport and start the mission.
This one will reward you with $16,000-$19,000 in GTA, and then spend another five minutes. You really just have to burst through whatever is between you and the package and run back and you’re gold.
This method will bring you a total of $160,000-164,000 in GTA per hour. Then again, you could omit the hostile takeover entirely and grind Sightseer for a higher hourly pay rate, but that gets pretty boring quickly.
On the same page, if done correctly, the entire VIP setup will benefit everyone involved. As a VIP, you get a cut of any cash your bodyguards earn while they go to work, unless it’s from a VIP challenge. These challenges are only for bodyguards and have considerable payouts.
During a regular game, your bodyguard will end up moving a lot of cash into your pocket. You should reward them with lots of VIP challenges so that they can also earn while working.
Speaking of…
become a bodyguard
There are plenty of aspiring VIPs to protect. Whenever you are an active VIP hired bodyguard, you will be paid $GTA 5K every 15 minutes in addition to the 100 RP per minute bonus, in addition to any bonuses earned from VIP jobs or challenges. While other sources of income will benefit the VIP, not you, a fixed salary on top of a very lucrative VIP job will give you an immediate burden.
daily goal
You’d be surprised how many people ignore these. They usually require very little effort, and completing all three missions each day will net you $30,000 in GTA and 5,000 RP in bonuses. Doing this for 7 consecutive days will increase the bonus to $GTA 150,000 and 20,000 RP (every 7 days), while 28 consecutive days will give you monthly bonuses of $GTA 750,000 and 50,000 RP. Given that these are really easy to accomplish, executing them will help boost cash. Even if you don’t get too strict with yourself when it comes to getting your monthly bonus, $25,000 a day can make a huge difference in the long run.
When you complete your 10th, 20th, 50th and 100th events, you’ll also get another running jackpot…
